  1. I have watched ant noticed all the steps and commands given by Matt Cutts.
    Absolutely correct that “WordPress takes care of 80-90% of (the mechanics of) Search Engine Optimization (SEO)”.
    I am agree with Matt Cutts.

  2. I’ve been looking at blogging and seo with much interest over the past year. I want to change my static site over to WordPress, but am concerned about losing page rank and traffic.

    This presentation is great. The fact that Matt says a WordPress blog takes care of up to 90% of seo is a revelation. I have WordPress blogs, and knew they were great- but wouldn’t have figured they were THAT good in the eyes of Google.

    On another note, it’s nice to see the presentation start with saying that personal blogs (cat blogs or mommy-type blogs etc etc) have ‘already won’. There’s so much negativity on the web at the moment towards bloggers who are not savvy or who do not blog for commercial reasons.
